Scouting on the Isle of Man caters for young people from age 4 to 25. Each section builds on the last, creating a seamless journey of growth and discovery.
Squirrels is our newest section and we only have one Drey on the Island at this time. Not every Group will have every section please see or groups page for more details.
Squirrels is our newest section, for children aged 4 to 6. They take part in a range of fun activities, from exploring outdoors to creative play, helping to develop social skills and confidence.
Beavers enjoy a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits, and outdoor adventures. They learn by doing — developing friendships and a sense of belonging.
Cubs tackle new challenges, earn badges, and develop teamwork through exciting projects. Activities range from camping to community service to creative arts.
Scouts are encouraged to plan their own programme — from camping expeditions and sailing to hiking and community action. It's about developing independence and resilience.
Explorers take on real expeditions, earn top awards like the Duke of Edinburgh, and shape their own programme. Units include Onchan, Douglas, Northern and Southern District.
Scout Network members shape their own programme and give back as community leaders. It's about adventure, community, and personal development on your terms.
