About the Site

A glen hideaway for young adventurers

The site is approximately 3 acres spread over multiple levels in a wooded glen, with a river running along the bottom edge. The river is not particularly deep or fast unless there has been bad weather, but must be considered in your risk assessments. The site is not known to flood.

As you approach up the short drive you will pass the abseiling platform and arrive at the turning circle and parking. The driveway forms part of a public footpath. Car parking on site is limited — please check the site before proceeding up the drive if unsure.

On the upper level there is a toilet block with male and female toilets and showers, along with a store and sink areas for catering (no fixed cooking facilities). There is also a hall of approximately 6×7m with an indoor traversing wall and an upper balcony that can sleep 4–6 adults.

The lower site features a ruined mill with a campfire basket, surrounded by multiple flat camping areas, an outdoor climbing wall, accessible abseiling ramp, and a tomahawk throwing range.
